Biography

Ishbel is a professional singer and actress from Puerto Rico. She has a Bachelors Degree and Artist Diploma on Classical Singing Performance. Has also studied acting from the age of 14 in the Specialized School of Arts Pablo Casals and has also participated in various acting and performing workshops. Her repertoire specializes in opera and classical pieces, but she can also sing popular ballads, boleros and musical theater songs. On her theater school graduation, she received an Excellency Award for her outstanding acting performances.

As a soprano, she has done various roles for operas, operettas and musicals. Like Emmy on the opera "Albert Herring" by Benjamin Britten and Soeur Constance in "Les Dialogues des Carmelites" by Poulenc. She played Mrs. Nordstrom in the musical "A Little Night Music" by Stephen Sondheim and Lisa in the operetta "Das Land des Lachelns" by Franz Léhar.

 

Ishbel offers services as a singer and soprano for weddings and all kinds of events. Even though her acting studies specialized in theater, she is currently working as a film actress for commercials, movies and series; and has done various award winning short films. She also works as a character performer for Toy Factory, an entertainment company for children.
