Ishbel is a professional Opera singer with a Bachelor's Degree and Artist Diploma in Classical Singing from the Conservatory of Music in Puerto Rico. Some of her opera roles include "Das Land des Lachelns" by Franz Léhar in the leading role of Lisa, "Les Dialogues des Carmelites" by Francis Poulenc in the role of Soeur Constance and "Albert Herring" by Benjamin Britten in the role of Emmy. She also studied theater and acting from the age of 14 in the Specialized School of Arts Pablo Casals where she won an award for her outstanding performances.

In her 10 years performing for weddings and events, she has performed at many of the top venues in the Caribbean and the United States. Her work has received high praise and reviews from clients and planners, earning her multiple Couple's Choice Awards on Wedding Wire. On the year 2021, she became a SAG-AFTRA member, establishing her as a professional actress in the film industry. As an actress, she has filmed dozens of commercials for brands like Neutrogena, Corona, Mercedes Benz and many more. She has also filmed multiple award-winning short films, worked on TV series and other films.
